Of Bodies

'Of Bodies' is a concert collaboration between Earth World Collaborative and Sapphonix Collective bringing the relationship between language and bodies into sharp focus by exploring the redemptive aspects of their transformative power. Occasionally this power is significant, sometimes hardly noticeable. For this concert, Earth World Collaborative and Sapphonix Collective share stories of transformation, reflected visually in projection, dance, and lighting design, and aurally through music for organ, piano, voice, and electronics.

Earth World's concert features musical selections by Adrian Foster, Joel Peters, Philip Glass, Alexandra Stréliski, and Hans Otte, with visuals and projection mapping by Joel Peters, Abdulrahman Al-Soufi, and Louis Stein.

Presented by Oasis musicale at Christ Church Cathedral as part of Montréal en lumière Festival’s Nuit blanche 2023.
