During the 2011 Yemen uprising, he co-founded #SupportYemen, which became one of the most successful media campaigns. Through this campaign, he educated aspiring Yemeni filmmakers and used his skills to document the revolution in Sana'a, Yemen. He has continued to create powerful documentaries in Nepal, Turkey, Somalia, and Canada, shedding light on important issues and bringing attention to untold stories. In Montreal, he documents the lives of musicians and captures the city's vibrant cultural scene.
